This course focuses on advanced partnerwork techniques such as spinning and quick changes of direction as well as more complex solo dances such as pachanga, Latin swing and how to use Afro-Cuban with salsa on2.
This level requires a solid understanding of salsa on2 timing.
Mambo or Salsa On2 is a style of salsa where you dance to the rhythm of the congas. Sometimes it is called NY-style or Puerto Rican style. It was popularized in the 30s and 40s and is today one of the most popular styles at international festivals.
